The Simpsons Tapped Out Cheats and The Simpsons Tapped Out Hacks … it’s been 24 hours since the game is back in the Apple App Store and our website is flooded by visits from players searching for cheats and hacks! Really guys? This is how much you like the game, that you need to have it hacked after not even a day of playing? Not cool! And you know what? You will probably fall into the spammers traps, where you need to subscribe to some kind of website and buy stuff to get the promised cheat or hack solution that won’t even work and you’ll get your money stolen on top of it. And it won’t be the first case we see. So take our advise and give up on searching for The Simpsons Tapped Out Cheats, it might get you in trouble
Not even 24 hours ago EA announced the new Update for The Simpsons Tapped Out, the version 2.1.0. You heard right: The Simpsons Tapped Out has been launched back to the Apple App Store! We told you this moment would come, and you kept complaining anyway but that’s OK, we are confident that this update of Tapped Out will deliver what EA failed to deliver with their first launch. Head over to the App Store and get the new version of the game today!
The Simpsons Tapped Out cheats videos are getting a lot of hits on Youtube these days. Using backgrounder onto cydia it’s very easy to advance the date and collect money however why do people call it a glitch? Is cheating a game glitch? There’s this video on youtube, it’s among the first results in Google if you type “The Simpsons Tapped Out Glitch” where this guy is showing you how to cheat by changing the date and he calls it a glitch … is it glitch because EA did not have a chance to punish or ban the cheating players yet? So it’s EA’s glitch not a The Simpsons: Tapped Out Glitch. What we call a glitch over here are the game errors when unusual things happen, or whenever you get these “special effects” that are not supposed to be part of the game. Here’s a small list of what we noticed to be glitches:
- Buildings are set out of the are, or in spaces that are not supposed to be
- Your characters (homer, lisa, apu…) are disappearing or missing
- Roads pieces are missing
- Springfield gets messed up when visiting a friend
- Money and donuts get a reset
- Being sent back a few levels
The Simpsons Tapped Out Android coming soon to a store near you. While EA is still working on fixing the iPhone and iPad game errors and issues, we are very confident that the game will return (temporarily removed from the App Store as you know) stronger than ever and will simultaneously be released on Android as well. It’s just a business decision that would make sense; back in February EA announced that the The Simpsons Tapped Out Android release date will be short after the iPhone and iPad versions. While an Android release would mean extra traffic on their servers, EA has no choice than to fix this once and for all so that the game can cope with its huge success.
There is no official date yet for its Android release and there’s no update on fixing existing errors neither, let’s just hope it’s all coming together soon.
What happens if you plant triffids? Will it bring the “End of Humanity”? Well several players confirmed that triffids in Tapped Out will bring you over 200 XP but the game will NOT end nor it will reset as others suspected.
Yes triffids take 12 hours to grow but hey, it’s worth it right?
Do you like to blog and you love playing The Simpsons: Tapped Out? Here’s your chance to join our team and become part of our community. We are presently working on setting up a fans discussion forum, yes we know, there’s already a forum for Tapped Out on EA’s website but over here we’ll have one created by players for players and managed completely by us. So if you have any of the following, please use the comments bow below to send us your contact info and a few words about yourself.
- Acceptable writing skills. We won’t expect you to be a journalist and we’ll review and correct you blog posts if necessary.
- Forums maintenance knowledge, create new boards and topics, filter and delete spam, help forum users if possible, ban and block intolerable users.
What we would like to see is 3-4 blog posts a week, talking about your game experience, quests, buildings, characters, what were the challenges to obtain them; tips & tricks to help other players advance.
One of the first challenges is to put together a complete game walkthrough for each level, using text and images. This will be one of the first jobs that you will probably work on. Other challenges on the list is to build up a full buildings list, and a characters list and how to obtain them. And the list goes on.
Yes we know, the game is not perfect right now and the developers are working on it, but we’re sure that EA will get back to us with a great game update and improved game experience.
Looking further to have you on board
P.S.: You applications will remain private, they won’t be published on the website

How to get Free Donuts? It’s all about free donuts isn’t it? Well if you’re new to The Simpsons: Tapped Out, you will need donuts to buy premium items like exclusive or multiple buildings or exclusive characters like Grandpa Simpson or Hans Moleman.
Now this is a warning for the type of players craving for a way to find donuts hacks and cheats: we have noticed several youtube videos out there that will promise you a million donuts or some kind of special hacks in exchange of your email address but our advice is to stay away from this type of deals. They will try to get you to spend money in exchange of that piece of information, which we strongly believe, it won’t help you and you might get screwed in exchange (sorry for using this terms).
Free donuts won’t fall off the Springfield’s sky, so don’t assume somebody will simply give them to you freely. Stay away from fake promises. Just a friendly advice.
If you’re a Jailbreak vip user using xsellize, there’s a donuts hack for you: you can get 10 free extra donuts and the statue of Jebidiah Springfield by doing the following:
- Open the options box by tapping your Homer Simpson
- Once the options box opens up, continue tapping Homer without closing the options box
Yeah, OK, we know you all love drama as it’s spicing up your day to day, but specially the games news websites love drama more than anything. Why? Because it gives them content to talk about and attract more readers and so on.
What we’re talking about here is the fact that EA removed the game from the Apple app store, and there are hundreds of websites talking about it as if it’s the biggest thing. All of them pointing at EA not being able to deliver. But you know what? We don’t care and probably neither do you, because you know that this is only a temporary phase and the game will be back very soon, stronger than ever. Why are we so sure? Well taking in consideration that EA is not a “corner of the street developer”, that “The Simpsons” have millions and millions of fans and because The Simpsons: Tapped Out went to the top of the free games list in just a few days, it won’t be long before EA will put all the resources in place to deliver one of the greatest games out there for mobile devices, including iPhones, iPad, Android phones and Android tablets. You have to be blind to ignore the huge potential of this game and very ignorant to believe that it won’t get fixed.
Meanwhile, we just need to be a little patient, we know there are a few bugs out there and small issues with the game play but we are 100% sure they will all get fixed and if you spent money in the game, it won’t be for nothing. The reason why you spent money it’s because you enjoyed the game and you will probably enjoy it even more once all the bugs fixed.
Add your two words on this below. Regards.
