Not even 24 hours ago EA announced the new Update for The Simpsons Tapped Out, the version 2.1.0. You heard right: The Simpsons Tapped Out has been launched back to the Apple App Store! We told you this moment would come, and you kept complaining anyway but that’s OK, we are confident that this update of Tapped Out will deliver what EA failed to deliver with their first launch. Head over to the App Store and get the new version of the game today!
The Simpsons Tapped Out Android coming soon to a store near you. While EA is still working on fixing the iPhone and iPad game errors and issues, we are very confident that the game will return (temporarily removed from the App Store as you know) stronger than ever and will simultaneously be released on Android as well. It’s just a business decision that would make sense; back in February EA announced that the The Simpsons Tapped Out Android release date will be short after the iPhone and iPad versions. While an Android release would mean extra traffic on their servers, EA has no choice than to fix this once and for all so that the game can cope with its huge success.
There is no official date yet for its Android release and there’s no update on fixing existing errors neither, let’s just hope it’s all coming together soon.
Yeah, OK, we know you all love drama as it’s spicing up your day to day, but specially the games news websites love drama more than anything. Why? Because it gives them content to talk about and attract more readers and so on.
What we’re talking about here is the fact that EA removed the game from the Apple app store, and there are hundreds of websites talking about it as if it’s the biggest thing. All of them pointing at EA not being able to deliver. But you know what? We don’t care and probably neither do you, because you know that this is only a temporary phase and the game will be back very soon, stronger than ever. Why are we so sure? Well taking in consideration that EA is not a “corner of the street developer”, that “The Simpsons” have millions and millions of fans and because The Simpsons: Tapped Out went to the top of the free games list in just a few days, it won’t be long before EA will put all the resources in place to deliver one of the greatest games out there for mobile devices, including iPhones, iPad, Android phones and Android tablets. You have to be blind to ignore the huge potential of this game and very ignorant to believe that it won’t get fixed.
Meanwhile, we just need to be a little patient, we know there are a few bugs out there and small issues with the game play but we are 100% sure they will all get fixed and if you spent money in the game, it won’t be for nothing. The reason why you spent money it’s because you enjoyed the game and you will probably enjoy it even more once all the bugs fixed.
Add your two words on this below. Regards.
I don’t know about you but one of my childhood dreams was to live in Springfield; to go play with Bart and Millhouse, go shop at the Kwik-E-Mart or do prank calls at Moe’s Tavern. And for all The Simpsons fans out there, spread world wide, what better news is there than the EA’s release on February 17th 2012 of The Simpsons: Tapped Out, where you are actually able to live the virtual life of Homer Simpson in his quest to rebuild Springfield. The Simpsons: Tapped Out’s release for iPhone and iPad is just the beginning, the Android version of the game will follow in a month or two according to EA.
